Our North campus friends have a tendency of irritating us by boasting about the Hudson lane and the cafes around. They declare themselves the winner of the North versus South campus feud without knowing what the South campus has to offer. South campus consists of over 10 colleges. While some of them are in close proximity to Satyaniketan (our version of Hudson lane), others are spread all over South Delhi.

We can always rely on Satyaniketan for our food expeditions but for the days when you are in a mood to splurge a little and eat a lot or have had too much of Satyaniketan, here is a list of some cafes you can find near your college for the perfect lunch/ brunch/ dinner or pretty much anything:

1. The Potbelly Rooftop Cafe, Shahpur Jat

With a colourful and quirky ambience, The Potbelly Rooftop cafe is the place to be on a rainy afternoon (it’s equally amazing on a sunny or a winter day). They serve Bihari food and you should totally try it, if you haven’t already.
